Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 10, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how OpenKlo ("OpenKlo", "we", "us") collects, uses, stores, and protects your information when you use the OpenKlo service at openklo.com and openklo.ru (the "Service"). For users of openklo.ru, the Russian-language Политика конфиденциальности also applies.

If you have questions about this Policy, contact us at support@openklo.com.

1. What OpenKlo does

OpenKlo provides each user with a personal AI agent that can be reached through messengers and a web interface, and that can perform tasks on the user's behalf, including through optional third-party integrations that the user explicitly connects (for example, Google Calendar).

2. Information we collect

  • Account information: your email address and a hashed password, or the identifier provided by a third-party sign-in provider you choose.
  • Agent configuration: settings, skills, and integration connections you set up for your AI agent.
  • Content you provide: messages and files you send to your AI agent so that it can perform the tasks you request.
  • Integration data: data received from third-party services you connect, as described in Sections 4 and 5.
  • Technical data: log records, IP addresses, and usage metadata needed to operate and secure the Service.
  • Payment data: processed by our payment providers; we do not store full card numbers.

3. How we use information

We use your information to:

  • provide, operate, and secure the Service;
  • execute the tasks you ask your AI agent to perform;
  • communicate with you about your account (for example, verification and billing emails);
  • comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

4. Third-party integrations

You can connect third-party services to your AI agent — for example, Google Calendar, GitHub, or Telegram — and we may add further integrations over time. For every integration the same principles apply:

  • we request only the access needed for the integration's features, and only after you explicitly connect it;
  • access tokens are encrypted at rest and are made available only to your own agent's isolated runtime;
  • data received from a connected service is used solely to perform the tasks you ask your agent to do, and is never sold or used for advertising;
  • you can disconnect an integration at any time from your dashboard, which deletes the stored token.

5. Google user data

If you connect your Google Calendar, OpenKlo requests access to the Google Calendar API with the calendar.events scope (view and edit events on your calendars) via Google OAuth. This section describes how we handle data received from Google APIs.

What we access

  • An OAuth token that allows your AI agent to view, create, and update calendar events on your behalf.
  • Calendar event data (titles, times, descriptions, attendees) — only when your agent performs a calendar task you requested.

How we use it

Google user data is used solely to provide the calendar features you request: creating, updating, listing, and deleting events at your instruction. When needed to fulfill your request, event data may be processed transiently by the AI model providers that power your agent, strictly to generate the response to your request.

We do not:

  • use Google user data for advertising;
  • sell Google user data;
  • use or transfer Google user data to develop, improve, or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models;
  • allow humans to read this data, except with your explicit consent, for security and abuse investigations, to comply with applicable law, or where the data has been aggregated and anonymized.

How we store and protect it

Your Google OAuth refresh token is encrypted at rest and is made available only to your own agent's isolated runtime. Calendar event data is not persistently stored by OpenKlo beyond what is needed to fulfill your requests (for example, your agent's conversation history that you control).

How to revoke access and delete data

  • Disconnect Google Calendar at any time from your OpenKlo dashboard (Integrations page); this deletes the stored token and revokes OpenKlo's access.
  • You can also revoke access from your Google Account at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.
  • Deleting your OpenKlo account deletes stored integration tokens.

Limited Use disclosure

OpenKlo's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

6. How we share information

We share information only with:

  • service providers that host and operate the Service (for example, cloud hosting and email delivery), bound by confidentiality obligations;
  • AI model providers, transiently, to the extent needed to process the tasks you ask your agent to perform;
  • payment providers, to process your payments;
  • authorities, where required by applicable law.

We do not sell personal information to third parties.

7. Data retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption of integration tokens at rest, and isolation of each user's agent runtime.

9. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@openklo.com or use the controls in your account dashboard.

10. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Material changes will be additionally communicated through the Service or by email.
